During a Model UN, participants act as delegates and present key issues of the UN Agenda in simulated meetings of the General Assembly, Security Council and other UN Bodies.

In Zimbabwe, such sessions have been held by Universities, the UZ being the first participant courtesy of UNIC. Schools have also held Model UN.
